Christian Lorenz advises clients in the full range of antitrust matters. He provides focused and practical antitrust advice tailored to fit the needs of our clients.
His nearly two decades of expertise spans antitrust compliance and training, M&A, civil and criminal investigations, including responding to subpoenas and civil investigative demands, by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the European Commission, and competition authorities around the world, as well as offensive and defensive civil litigation.
Christian provides practical and actionable antitrust advice for every-day business activities, including regarding supply and distribution agreements, joint ventures and other collaborations with competitors, information exchanges, and pricing policies. Christian also has extensive M&A experience, including advising clients from deal inception through antitrust clearance and closing, including regarding initial antitrust risk assessments, negotiating transaction agreements, HSR filings, regulatory advocacy, integration planning and gun jumping, and responding to Second Requests.
He has represented clients in matters involving a wide variety of industries, including technology, software, pharmaceutical manufacture and distribution, health insurance, ride-sharing, alcohol distribution, defense, chemicals, construction, biotechnology, engineered products, auto parts, financial, and airline.
Christian previously practiced at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. He helped launch Kanter Law Group in 2020 and subsequently Kressin Law Group in 2021, which became Kressin Meador Powers in 2024.
