Patrick counsels clients on a broad range of antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, antitrust compliance, regulatory filings, and federal civil investigations. He has experience defending clients in both private antitrust litigation and in actions brought by regulatory agencies, including successfully defending a merger challenge brought by the Department of Justice in Federal Court.


Patrick has extensive experience representing third parties in investigations and litigation brought by regulatory agencies. He advises clients on responding to Civil Investigative Demands from regulatory agencies, including large-scale document productions and complex requests for data.  He has helped prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony in actions brought by regulatory agencies.


Patrick provides antitrust advice to clients contemplating mergers and acquisitions, including initial antirust risk analysis, HSR filings, advocacy to regulatory agencies, responding to Second Requests, and defending merger challenges in court.


He has represented clients in several industries, including technology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, publishing, airlines, food and beverage, and financial services.
